Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) is a technology that allows Asiacell customers to make voice calls over the 4G LTE network. This provides high-definition (HD) voice quality and ensures that data services remain uninterrupted during calls.

Manual guide for VoLTE enabling

iPhone:

On your iPhone, go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options → Voice and Data → tap Enable LTE

Samsung:

Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Preferred network type → 4G (preferred)/3G/GSM. Tap the switch beside Enable VoLTE to turn the feature on.

HUAWEI:

Go to Settings → Mobile network → Mobile data. In the network settings turn on the VoLTE calls switch.

REDMI:

Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Preferred network type → Tap the switch beside Enable VoLTE to turn the feature on.

OPPO:

Go to your OPPO smartphone's [Settings] → then tap on [SIM card & mobile data] → choose a SIM card → activate [VoLTE Calls] by toggling the enable/disable button.

VIVO:

Go to Settings>(Dual cards and) → Mobile network → turn on VoLTE HD Call.

XIAOMI:

Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Preferred network type → Tap the switch beside Enable VoLTE to turn the feature on.

REALM:

Find and tap Settings → tab on SIM card & mobile date → choose a SIM card → Enable or disable VoLTE calls.

  No, voice calls made over VoLTE are billed as regular voice calls and do not consume your data allowance.

• What happens if I’m on a call and move out of 4G coverage?

  If you move out of 4G coverage during a VoLTE call, the call will seamlessly switch to the 3G or 2G network, ensuring your conversation continues without interruption.

• Is there an additional charge for using VoLTE?

  No, Asiacell does not charge extra for using VoLTE. Calls are billed according to your existing voice call rates.
