Asiacell carries out major network optimization with Nokia boosting subscriber experience significantly in Baghdad
Asiacell uses Nokia’s end-to-end network optimization services for the multi-vendor network to improve network performance
Baghdad – Iraq: Asiacell is carrying out optimization of the entire multi-vendor network including radio access network (RAN), IP, transmission and core networks. It has commissioned Nokia for this major project to be completed later this year. The ongoing network optimization has already resulted in significant improvement in the network performance. Once the project is completed, Asiacell’s subscribers in the city of Baghdad will be able to enjoy an overall superior network experience and better data throughput.
As part of the project, Nokia assesses and fine tunes the network performance parameters, and tests new features leading to a significant improvement in customer experience.
Improved network performance will allow Asiacell to improve customer loyalty and increase its appeal among new potential subscribers. Besides, the operator will be able to better utilize the network resources. Asiacell subscribers in Baghdad have already started experiencing an improvement in the speed and overall quality of services over the last month.
“This is a timely and crucial project for us.
