The first and biggest Forum for photographers, videographers and designers in Iraq
Baghdad – Iraq: Asiacell Telecom provided platinum sponsorship to PhotoIN 2019 Forum, the first and the biggest of its kind, which was held on April 26, 2019 in Baghdad. The Company’s sponsorship of the Forum’s activities is part of its strategy and orientation to have an active contribution to the community in terms of supporting the youth. It also reaffirms its management strategy to support quality projects and activities in its capacity as a major partner in all technical and developmental activities.
Asiacell’s hosting of this Forum, being the oldest and biggest in Iraq as it takes in most of professional photographers, videographers and designers, will contribute to providing support to vital technical and developmental programs through which it will bring out youth energies to achieve what once they believed impossible. The Forum, which took two days, covered many topics on the latest updates on photography, videography and design technology. It also provided a platform for speakers, local and worldwide, to speak to the attendees about their latest works in those fields. PhotoIN 2019 also ensured that it would provide professional training through 24 workshops scheduled to be held to train more than 1000 people.
Obviously, this sponsorship is in line with Asiacell’s role towards the community and the importance of active contribution to such activities that help classes of community, especially the young people. PhotoIN 2019 Forum is the widest gathering of photographers and videographers in Iraq.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Abdulla Hassan, Asiacell’s official spokesperson said: “We are one of the leading [Companies] in Iraq in terms of providing support to the youth and backing young people’s initiatives that inspire development. Hence, we decided to sponsor PhotoIN 2019 for the big role it plays in developing photography, videography and design for the Iraqi youth”.
