November 2010 - Asiacell - the first and largest Iraqi telecommunications company and the only mobile telecom company providing coverage for all of Iraq - announced the launch of a unique offer on prepaid lines. The offer provides free extra balance with every credit recharge, and includes all scratch card denominations available in the Iraqi market. The offer was launched on the 27th of September 2010, and will continue until the next three months.

Current Asiacell prepaid subscribers and interested customers from other networks can benefit from this offer by sending a one-time empty SMS to 600 for the price of ID 100. Subscribers will obtain free extra balance every time they recharge their credit during the offer’s validity period, which lasts 14 days after the last recharging date. The bonus credit can only be used to place on-net outgoing calls; subscribers can check their balance by dialing *600#.

Subscribers that subscribe to this offer will receive the following free bonus credit for each scratch card denomination: ID 300 extra balance on the ID 5,000 denomination, ID 800 extra balance on the ID 10,000 denomination, ID 3,000 extra balance on the ID 25,000 denomination, and ID 15,000 extra balance on the ID 100,000 denomination. The USD 5 denomination will receive an ID 400 bonus, the USD 10 denomination will receive an ID 1,100 bonus, the USD 20 denomination will receive an ID 2,500 bonus, the USD 30 denomination will receive an ID 4,000 bonus, the USD 50 denomination will receive an ID 7,000 bonus, and the USD 100 denomination will receive an ID 18,000 bonus.
